Welcome Adobe Edge

Adobe just announced a new tool (“Edge”) for helping developers produce interactive content based on HTML5, CSS3, and a healthy dose of javascript. I’m torn. The code generated by automated tools has a (deserved) reputation for being bloated and inefficient. On the other hand, Adobe has built an empire on tools that make professional tasks accessible to mere mortals. And whatever my misgivings may be…it’s not Flash.
